ARTIST STATEMENT

Doug is a passionate Canadian fine art photographer, visual artist and writer. With an emphasis on minimalism, nature and abstraction, he explores temporal moments never to be repeated. His fine art illustrations harness a history of imagery as an exploration of purpose, introspection and imagination. A wordsmith at heart, Doug uses prose and poetry to augment these moments of expression.
